The ATTIC is the name for Florida-based freelancer Thomas Mumme's Film and Video Production Services. This web site showcases the professional experiences of Thomas Mumme as well as the personal Films produced by The ATTIC and the group of industry freelancers associated with it.
Thomas Mumme has been in the production industry for the past five years and has racked up credits on feature films including: RACE TO SPACE, MEN IN BLACK, and THE DEVILS OWN; Television shows and companies including: MTV, VH-1, ESPN, Entertainment Tonight, Oprah Winfrey, Emeril Live, Woodstock '99, Court TV, Real TV; and more. Over the years, Thomas Mumme has been determined to learn all aspects of the Motion Picture and Television field and has worked professionally as a Camera Operator, Camera Assistant or Utility, Grip, Gaffer, Audio Tech, Editor, and a whole lot more. He has strived to become as well rounded in Film and Video Production as he possibly can.

In his spare time, Thomas Mumme and The ATTIC are involved with a group of filmmakers and industry freelancers who combine their efforts to produce personal feature films, short films, music videos, books, cds, artwork, scripts, and anything relating to the Entertainment and Film and Video industry. The History of The ATTIC
The ATTIC: Community Bulletin Board and Trading Post was formed in 1995 by Thomas Mumme and Marcel LaPlante as a free publication in the Melbourne, FL area. It showcased local events, entertainment news, free classifieds and editorial columns and was successful while it lasted. It was disbanded in 1996 and the name was kept for Thomas Mumme's production Company.
Since then, The ATTIC Productions has been involved with producing short films, publications, CDs, etc.
RECENT AWARDS
The ATTIC Gets MIFF'd
September 18th, 1999-The ATTIC's short dramatic film/video "Action News 13" was selected to world premiere at the Melbourne Independent Film Festival (MIFF) and was praised by many as one of the best films of the festival.
Gorillas To Tour Florida
September 15th, 1999-The ATTIC's 5 minute music video of Liquid Image's "X-Mas Gorillas" was chosen to tour the state of Florida with the second wave of the Central Florida Film and Video Festival in November. It was selected with five other music videos from across the country.
The ATTIC Wins An EMMY
On May 15th, 1999 The ATTIC and several friends of The ATTIC were honored by winning an EMMY. The award was given to WBNS-TV10 Ohio for Best Team Coverage of a Live Event for their coverage of the Historic John Glenn Launch back in October. Thomas Mumme, founder and operator of The ATTIC, was involved as a freelance Camera Operator for the award winning event and received his plaque in November.
